The DIGILAB 10K10 gives you an easy start on the subject of Programmable Logic. The board contains an Altera FLEX^® 10K10 device, which can be reconfigured as often as you wish. The enclosed software from Altera makes the digital design process very easy and straightforward. In addition the board has some logic, which is necessary for the configuration of the device through the PC-interface. This interface can be used for configuration of FLEX 10K device and and furthermore it's possible to use it as stand-alone download cable (togehter with a 10-pole flat cable).

DIGILAB 10K10 Features :

• Comes with Altera's development system MAX+plus^® II Baseline on CD ROM
• Altera FLEX device EPF10K10LC84-4 on a socket (10.000 gates, 576 Logic Elements, 59 user I/O's, 6kBit RAM)
• All pins are accessible from outside
• Voltage regulator and complete power supply
• Programming interface for parallel port of PC
  (no special download hardware required)
• Outputs of configuration signals are compatible to Altera's ByteBlaster™. 
• 4-digit 7-segment display (two additional digits can be added)
• 4 push buttons and 4 LEDs
• VGA-output
• Plug for PC-keyboard
• Socket for optional configuration EPROM (Altera EPC1441, EPC1 or EPC2). The EPC2 can be programmed on board through the JTAG interface
• Quartz oscillator (50 MHz)
• Europe Card format, board space for optional VG-96 plug (prototypes for example for VME-bus applications)
• Free space on the punch card for your own additional cuircuit
• Complete set of documentation (datasheets & application notes) on CD ROM
• Example program for easy start
